Into the wilderness

We’re all about exploring the great outdoors. We wanted to share some of our favourite places to explore near our home in the North West of England – so here’s our top three walking trails.

Grasmere Lakeside, Lake District, UK
White moos wood loop from Broadgate

Difficulty: Easy
Miles: 4.39
Time:
1h 52m

This route circumnavigates Grasmere lake and is a pleasant, mostly flat walk through parklands and woods.

Old Man of Coniston Summit, Lake District, UK
Goats water loop from Coniston

Difficulty: Intermediate
Miles: 7.29
Time: 4h 15m

A circular route that climbs over many small pikes up to the summit. Your efforts will be rewarded with  panoramic views of all the fells – in the distance you can even see the Pennines and the Isle of Man.

Mount Snowdon, Snowdonia National Park, Wales, UK
Crib Goch climb

Difficulty: Difficult
Miles: 7.14
Time: 5h 10m

Not for the faint hearted – you’ll need to be in good shape for this and have the right equipment. This thrilling route is the toughest walk up the mountain. You’ll be met with a steep ascent and sharp ridge drops – definitely one for the adrenaline junkies out there.

When we’re out exploring we always make sure to stock up on drinks and snacks. For those longer treks, our eco-friendly Rucksack is great for carrying hiking essentials or even just a really good picnic. Our compact Backpack is great for shorter trails or even city exploring, and our Barrel Bag is handy for gym exercise sessions. The best bit about our bags is they’re  all eco-friendly – made from either organic cotton, organic canvass or 100% recycled PET polyester.

Staying hydrated whilst exploring is so important. We never leave home without our reusable Aluminium Sports Bottle – great for keeping your water and juices super cold!
